Good Works
After a person has received the gift of faith through the work of the Holy Spirit, he begins to perform good works. Good works are thoughts, words, and actions that are in accord with the will of God. The believer desires to do good works and cooperates in doing good works, but always with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Good works flow from a faith that already has received full and free salvation. Good works never earn or contribute toward salvation.
