The Lutheran Confessions
As a confessional Lutheran congregation, we subscribe fully to all of the Lutheran Confessions as they are recorded in the Book of Concord of 1580. These documents are the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds; the Augsburg Confession and its Apology; the Smalcald Articles and the Treatise on the Power and Primacy of the Pope; Luther’s Small and Large Catechisms; and the Epitome and Solid Declaration of the Formula of Concord. We embrace these confessions in full because they are a correct exposition of the teaching of the Scriptures.
